Meet Some of Our Volunteers

Elizabeth Long

Beth was valedictorian in her 2021 graduating class. She will be attending Penn State Schreyer Honors college to study aerospace engineering and computer science. She was a member of the Mars varsity volleyball team and loves to snowboard and hike. Someday, Beth wants to get a pilots' license and travel the world.  Her favorite part about volunteering with Cookies for a Cause was talking to customers and other vendors.

Audrey Milk

Audrey is a senior at Mars high school, and is in both student council a variety of other organizations such as show choir, color guard, computer science club, and debate.  She liked volunteering for Cookies for a Cause because she was able to have fun and make a difference simultaneously. She loves to rollerblade, and has two dogs, two cats, a turtle, and a lizard as pets.

Patricio Beltran

Patricio will be attending Duke University to study Economics and Global health this upcoming fall. His goal is to explore solutions to global disparities from inefficient government, economic, and healthcare systems. He was president of STEM club at Mars High School and frequently volunteered at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh. His liked Cookies For a Cause because of the sense of community it created in Mars.

Ashley Ward

Ashely graduated Mars high school in 2021 and will be attending the University of Miami to study architecture. She was involved in many activities in high school such as NHS, class council, musical,  and her most impactful activity, student council. She spent many Saturdays volunteering for Cookies for a Cause, and found it to be an extremely rewarding volunteering experience since she felt that she was able to connect to her community and share many laughs with her peers.
