Done with Half the Season!

Cookies for a Cause has reached its halfway point for the summer with only 5 weeks left of fundraising! The market has been a great success so thus far, with our totals being $600.05 and our goal $1,000.

With more than halfway to our goal, we would like to thank those from student council and key club who donated their time to either bake or sell cookies. The excellent teamwork and positive atmosphere that volunteers have brought to the market have made us successful thus far, and we look forward working with them the second half of the season!

The summer season ends on August 14th, but Cookies for a Cause will also fundraise at the Mars Applefest, on the first Saturday of October. The Applefest is located in the town of Mars, down Grande Avenue and in the Woodland Valley Church parking lot. Historically, the Applefest is our best day, usually raising over $200. Afterwards, all proceeds from the summer and Applefest will be donated to the St. John Specialty Care Center veterans.
